Returns
To begin your return or exchange follow these steps:
- Open the Returns Portal and log in with your order number and email address.
- Select the item(s) you would like to return and if you would like to exchange, refund or receive store credit.
- Download the label and print at home, or use the QR code for use at any Royal Mail Service Point.
- Drop it off at your nearest Royal Mail service point which you can find in the Returns Portal.

How Can I Find My Order Number?
Your Order Number which you will have received when you placed the original order. It is a 7 digit number beginning with ‘3’. This is also on the address label on your parcel, below ‘customer reference’
What is your Christmas Return Policy?
Any items bought between 1st October 2025 and 31st December 2025 can be returned up to the 31st January 2026.
What are my return options?
You can return your products for a refund, exchange them for a different size or colour (UK orders only), or exchange them for a gift card.
Just make sure you return your order within 28 days of receipt and make sure the products are in their original condition.
How long do I have to return my items?
You have 28 days to return, please make sure the products are in their original condition.
Who covers the cost of returning my items?
UK Orders - If you require an exchange we will send the new size completely free of any postage charge. If you require a refund we will deduct £3 from the original cost of the merchandise to cover the return postage. The remaining balance will be refunded via the payment method used to purchase the goods. If you would like store credit to the value of your order there will be no £3 deduction.

The original postage charge is only refunded if the product is faulty, or the wrong item was sent.
Can I exchange an item if I have ordered from outside of the UK?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges for overseas orders. If you would like a different item or size/colour, please return your original order for a refund and place a new order instead. Please note that duties and taxes will be payable again on the new order.
How does a store credit work
The Store Credit will be sent to you in the form of a virtual gift card that retains value. This means you can use it as many times as you want until the balance reaches 0
What is a QR Code?
A QR code is a type of barcode that will be emailed to you once you have made your return. Take the QR code on your phone or smart device to a Royal Mail customer service point or Post Office branch. They will scan it and print a label for you.
What will happen after I have returned my item(s)
Once we receive and verify your returned items your new replacements will automatically be sent out to you, it’s as easy as that. If you have requested a refund you will receive email confirmation once this has been sent. If you do not hear from us within 3 working days of us receiving your return please email us on: support@newforestclothing.co.uk
I want to change the size, do I need to place a new order?
No, you can use our returns portal and request an exchange instead (UK orders only) Simply follow the steps above and select the size you would like to exchange for. Please note that we do not offer exchanges for overseas orders.
I want to exchange for an item of different value, do I need to place a new order?
No, you can use our returns portal and request an exchange instead (UK orders only). Simply follow the steps above and select the item/colour/size you would like to exchange for. If the item requested is more expensive you will be able to pay the difference on the portal. If the item requested is cheaper you will be refunded the difference when we process your return. Please note that we do not offer exchanges for overseas orders.
What items can I return?
We understand that sometimes a product just doesn't work for you and you want to return or exchange (exchanges are for UK only). As long as item(s) are still in their original condition, you can return these within 28 days from when your order was delivered. Please note exceptions to this rule: Socks can only be returned if they are sealed in their original packaging.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us by phone on 01725 510051 within 15 minutes of placing your order. If outside of office hours please email us at support@newforestclothing.co.uk as soon as possible and we’ll try and assist you. If the order has already been picked or shipped out we are unable to make any amendments to your order. You can either place a new order or use our returns portal to make an exchange.
EU Right of Withdrawal
EU Right of Withdrawal (effective on orders placed on or after 19th June 2026)
If you are a customer located in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us.
To make returns easier, New Forest Clothing can provide a prepaid UPS return label. If you choose to use this service, a fee of £10 GBP will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of the return shipping label.
Alternatively, you may arrange your own return shipping at your own expense and own risk.
Returned items must be sent back in their original condition, with all tags attached and, where possible, in their original packaging. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Once we have received the returned goods, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds will include the price paid for the goods and any standard delivery charges paid at the time of purchase, as required by applicable law. Any expedited or premium delivery charges are non-refundable.
Where a prepaid UPS return label has been used, the £10 GBP return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
This right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been personalised or made to the customer's specifications, or to any other products exempt from the right of withdrawal under applicable law.
If you are an EU consumer and wish to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you may complete and submit the form below, or alternatively send us a clear statement by email on support@newforestclothing.co.uk confirming your decision to withdraw from the contract. You do not have to use this form.
